a sorry farewell
i’m glad cruyff made good mention of rijkaard’s contribution and attitude throughout his stay at the club. anyhow, i need to hire a catalan translator. sucks so bad that i can hardly figure out las claves de johan cruyff every damn week. thanks to an article at goal.com, i got the jist of the latest article. apart from backing his fellow student rijkaard, cruyff is supportive of guardiola’s appointment and shoots down any criticism about his lack of experience. at least we have the assurance of a great football visionary.
barça play their last league game against murcia afterwhich all attn shifts to the euro championship (okay maybe the champions league final before that). but while we remain fixated with our quadrennial dose of euro, transfer negotiations are probably in the works. downloading exam results, point in time where the champions league anthem is being played before a big game - these are hyperventilating moments which are torturous for my organs hearts and lungs, but only for a few minutes.
but transfer rumors and news? this lasts for one whole freaking summer! my heart beat picks up pace everytime my barcelona news feed updates itself every 5 minutes! spain better not disappoint this euro alright, if that fails, then hopefully rossi enjoys a good run in the bulk of european races this summer. if neither of those can be my saviour, i better have enough money to afford retail therapy.
