it’s so surreal writing this. but the Rijkaard era has finally come to an end. thank you so much for the beautiful football, the best 2 seasons in recent memory and the unforgetable night in Paris. thank you for supporting barcelona’s youth system by allowing homegrown players such as iniesta, messi and bojan to shine ahead of imported players. the level-headedness and calming effect you brought to the club and players were much needed after the tumultuous Gaspart years. much love and many thanks, Frank! Please don’t go to Chelsea. Milan would be more bearable.

i fear that this may be an issue

i didn’t think it’d be this soon seeing Guardiola (my freaking beloved ex-player) take charge at barcelona. xavi, his understudy then is still 28 and playing! oh well, Pep you’ve got big shoes to fill!
