Xavi/Messi/Eto’o 1-2-3

And even sweeter, Real Madrid’s lead was cut to 2 points by this GOAL.

//Edited: Liga Telenovela. It’s alright if you don’t understand football really, off-pitch entertainment in Spain is the stuff of Telenovelas! The league is wide open again. Only a few weeks back was Real Madrid enjoying a 9 point league. Personally, I gave up on our chances, 9 points and half way through the season. Real needed to ‘flop on the trot’ while Barsa earn 3 points/game to match. But in just 4 weeks, we’re 2 points behind and have yet to meet Real Madrid for El Clasico Part II. Amazing =) This is not the drama I’m talking about by the way.  Attention Valencia. Yes, the town Ili Hazwani is in right now. I hope you’re doing great and lucky you to be in the thick of all the frenzy! Valencia CF found themselves in court (a judicial facility, not a street soccer court) testifying for and against one man, David Albelda. Coach, technical staff and president included. What can such off pitch activities do for team spirit?! The lesser known club of Valencia – Levante on the other hand went on strike during their training session for unpaid salaries! Crazy!  So the season began with a media tug of war, matches were held hostage! Puerta’s death, publicized problems at Barcelona which obviously kept me edgy, Betis’ president embezzling club money, Spanish Fed taking 2 years to fine Eto’o for calling Madrid bastards or something like that, Del Nido threatening to sell his top players if they failed to qualify for Champions’ League (wow)…hmm let’s see what the next chapter offers aye!
